Does the past sit where it is?

Is the past behind one, just as the things we are amidst sit beside us? And in the same way as a collection or crowd of things?

Is time nothing more than an eternal now with no past and no future
Or do these other demarcations also exist as part of physical reality

What does "physical" mean? The group deludes itself with such abstractions.
