Postby Flannel Jesus » Thu Jul 28, 2022 9:52 am

I do a weekly art prompt with my work mate every week. This week's prompt is squid.

Good job, Flannel.. whenever I see a piece of artwork, I always wonder what inspired it.

The latter colour palette does indeed seem more agreeable, on the eye.

I haven't got the time to spend the time reading something that is telling me nothing, as I will never be able to get back that time, and I may need it for something important at some point in time.. Huh!? ~MagsJ

You’re suggestions and I just simply don’t mix.. like oil on water, or a very bad DJ ~MagsJ

I like skulls, and the prompt was squid, so I just thought, what about a skull squid?

Not very deep, I know.

Maybe I should say "It's a commentary on how our mortality has many tentacles and is as deep as the ocean," or some bollocks. Seems like half of art is people's ability to make up some crap about what their piece means, when really they just painted it because it looked cool and was fun haha.

Any inspiration, is a just inspiration..

What is this week's inspiration prompt?

This week is Tattoo. My coworker chose that prompt. I have some ideas but I'm not super confident about them yet. We'll see
