I don’t even have to go back to those quoted posts to refute what you presented. It’s all in my head.
I’m not interested right now.
I want to distill this.
I’m a spiritual atheist. Also part shaman/part Shintoist.
I already know we all live forever.
Love. Goodness. Is simple.
Everyone gets everything they have always and will always want forever at the expense of nobody.
This whole existence is hate; always has been.
People don’t like the veil to be pulled off, so they wrote treatises about love that make no sense...
It’s like Christian apologetics. And what they do because of it.
Love should never require sacrifice or pain or torment or torture... for anyone and everyone.
There is no paradox to it.
I understand that you have your point of view. I understand that you think yours is the only correct point of view. I also understand that the only way you can maintain such a point of view is to disregard anyone - or anything - that challenges that point of view.
Context? The thread was about LOVE. You bowled in, revealing the nature of your character. "It's bullshit."
You mentioned, Bullshit. I merely followed your lead.
Your comment put me in mind of many of the claims you have made. Many of the statements that you continually make. "I hurt." "I'm a hyper empath." "I'm in pain." "I am not a hypocrite." I hurt." "I am not God." "I am an empath." "I hurt." "You're all retards." "I am not a Messiah."
Empaths are mindful of the feelings of others! They certainly don't seek to upset, offend, or hurt them. You would do well to be a little kinder to others.
You say: "This whole existence is hate; always has been."
Interesting, and slightly sad way of seeing things. It's possible I would see the world in the same light, had I not had the great good fortune to have held two newborn daughters, and a number of grandchildren. The experience certainly changed me, and the way I saw the world!
Paradox?
From the same book, A More Excellent Way, this from Jean Ingelow.
"When she came
Before him first, he looked at her, and looked . . .
And wished himself a better man, and thought
On certain things, and wished they were undone,--
Because her girlish innocence, the grace
Of her unblemished pureness, wrought in him
A longing and aspiring, and a shame.
To think how wicked was the world.
Ecmandu, I hope you have the opportunity to experience the feeling of Love in the Here and Now.
You keep avoiding a repeating point. Because it’s too hard for you. Actually. To be perfectly honest. Go on your merry ego with your sex, and beings you think you gave life to. I’ll do the work myself.
The point that you’re avoiding is that LOVE is every being getting everything they want forever at not one beings expense.
I use tighter boundaries than you’ve ever conceived...
That by no stretch of the imagination gives me a fraction of free reign.
But you take your free reign everyday.
I’m not going to stalk you, or kill you or hell you...
Things you’ve never experienced before and I know by the way you speak. I hope you never have to endure one... I’ve been to thousands of them:
My mind is vicious. Not my body.
I already know what you’re thinking...
He feels morally superior to me.
I am. But that’s not the point.
Then you’ll think...that I actually treasure winning or losing a debate.
You’ll also think that I’m like a soldier who comes off of 4 tours of hard combat and smugly looks around at everyone knowing they’re having a good sense because of me.
I’ve seen the rows of answers before.
I can keep going.
My situation in existence does not give me the type of free reign you think I use.
A being like me who has a conscience would be sent to trillions of years in the deepest pits of hell for having sex once. Even seeing a pair of tits is millions of years.
I’ll tell you something...
Because you don’t have a conscience, and in this life, never will. You don’t have to worry about it.
