I find myself sitting down a fussing over an opening line for so long that i choose not to write anything entirely. It seems that when i just let things flow they take their own shape.

I like this one too, partly because it is easily read, partly because it has wit, and partly because it has real and relevant meaning.

(i find it hard to self glorify in raps, which accounts for 99% of mainstream lyrics)

We're going to write a rap based on ecmandu's 'consent violation' theme. I'm working on the first part now. I'd like the second part - after the chorus - to be about an encounter between two people fighting over the express lane at the grocery store. Some guy with fourteen items tries to squeeze in line, and violates the consent of both the store and the customers. That's what I have in mind... so feel free to try and come up with something...
